The Child Support Agency truth

Episode 157 just the father talking again

Today, I want to talk about the decision to become a parent. The biggest thing about becoming a parent that a lot of people do not consider is that, yes, the child will be biologically connected to his or her parent and will look similar to them, but that is all. They will still be a polluter, we are all polluters. It does not matter how much a person tries not to be; we all are, and that is a fact. I make sure all of my trash makes it into a garbage can, and I never litter. But I know that I am still a polluter. Having a child means that you are creating another human , and that human will be a polluter!

As much as you love them, just know that they are going to hate you. Between the ages of about 13 and 18, they are going to not like their parents. Now with the information age, there are connected devices everywhere. So children are getting exposed to porn and sex at a very early age. As a parent, you are going to have to deal with that. Then there is also the fact that children love their devices, and they want to have them all the time, and that is also a problem. I do not think a child should have an electronic device until they are at least in middle school  (grade 6). My child's mother gave him a mobile phone at age 8 which is like second or third grade. His mother and I split up when he was like 2 years old, and since then I have had no say at all about anything. That is something to consider too, you lose control and the other parent can do pretty much whatever they wish. Kids do not understand the dangers that these devices pose. If their parent or guardian takes a child's phone for any reason, they freak out. When I was a child, I was just trying not to get a whooping from my parents, lol. Now, these kids do not care about pain at all, but if their devices are taken from them, they behave then, and only then. Children are also very expensive. I am not just talking about money here. We know that having a child is tremendously hard on a woman's body. Also, the best way to feed an infant during the first year is to breastfeed. I am a male, so I do not have to worry so much about that. That first year of breastfeeding is very important for the cognitive development of a child’s brain. The father of an infant cannot breastfeed a child, but they are definitely going to have to participate in it either way. I have never seen a mother breastfeeding her infant in public, but a mother could if she wanted to. They have a pump now, and that pump transfers breast milk into a bottle, and the child gets fed that way. I asked my mother what she did with me, and she said, “I breastfed all of you kids” (3) of us. “Because we were broke.” We were all born in the late 1970s and there was no pump. What a P.I.T.A. I thought.

Planning to have children is nowhere near how it was when you were a child. There are lots of differences, the world has changed a lot in the past 25 years. Do NOT think that having a child will do anything other than make your life much worse. Having just a single child now is a very hard thing to do. We thank people all the time who are in the armed services. What is a real help to humanity and planet earth are those who fight the instinct to replicate. Those are the true heroes.
